NICOLAS GEUENS

Nicolas Geuens is a Director of Sponsorship for this year's conference. He is a 1996 Honors graduate from the Vlerick Management School, Belgium, where he received a MA in Tax Management, and a 1995 Honors graduate from the Solvay Business School, Belgium, where he received a MSC in Management. Following graduation, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a consultant in the Financial Services group where he worked on business enhancement assignments primarily for insurance companies, banks and asset management firms. Subsequently, he joined DBAssociates, the European leader in Facility Management solutions, and was sent to the US as Post-merger Integration Manager in charge of the integration of the largest and first non-European acquisition of DBAssociates.

TONY HORSLEY

Anthony (Tony) Horsley is a Director of Sponsorship for this year’s conference.  He’s a second year MBA and a 1999 graduate of Brigham Young University, where he received a BA degree in International Relations and Asian Studies.  Following graduation he worked as a Project Manager to develop the Huntsman Cancer Institute, a world-class cancer research and treatment facility, and later as Product Manager at a start-up technology firm.  Most recently, he spent several months working to redefine GE Medical System’s cardiac imaging market strategy.  He’s a member of the Healthcare and Technology Clubs and an officer in the Politics Club. 

TARA SCHWAB

Tara Schwab is a Director of Sponsorship for this year’s conference.  She is a 1999 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she received a BA in Government and International Studies.  Tara began her healthcare career at the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services where she worked on the national implementation of HIPAA.  Tara then joined the Boston healthcare practice of Deloitte Consulting where she developed strategy and operations solutions for health plan and provider clients.  Tara is currently The Wharton School’s liaison to the University’s Student Wellness Advisory Board and is a cast member of the 2004 Wharton Follies.

MICHAEL SILK

Michael is serving as Co-Director of Sponsorship for the 2004 Wharton Health Care Business Conference and is a 1st year Wharton MBA student in the Health Care Management Program.  Prior to Wharton, he worked as an Associate for TA Associates, a Boston-based private equity firm from 2000-03, focusing primarily in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors.  Prior to TA, he served as a Business Analyst for McKinsey & Company where he specialized in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.  Michael graduated from the University of Virginia with Distinction in 1998 with a degree in Commerce and a concentration in Finance.

FELIX TOLLINCHE

Felix Tollinche is a Director of Sponsorship for this year’s conference. He graduated from Harvard University in 1999 with Honors in Applied Mathematics. Prior to matriculating at Wharton, Felix spent four years in the mergers and acquisitions group at Merrill Lynch. His transaction experience covered a variety of industries but focused on health care companies. Felix is currently a member of the Wharton men’s crew team and a research analyst for the Wharton Investment Management Fund ($400K small cap value fund).
