Juergen Lasowski

 After finishing his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Mainz (Germany), Juergen joined BASF AG in 1985 where he worked in Research and Production positions for the next three years. He joined Hoechst AG in 1989 after having received his MBA from INSEAD. Over the next six years Juergen worked in several specialty chemical marketing related areas in Germany, North Carolina and Japan before returning to Frankfurt/Germany to coordinate the Region Asia in the Corporate Center of Hoechst AG. He transferred to Bridgewater, NJ in 1996 and headed the Global Strategy function for Hoechst Marion Roussel and subsequently the Business Development and Strategy department for Aventis in North America after the merger of Hoechst and Rhone-Poulenc. Juergen was appointed to head the Business Development and Strategy function for Sanofi-Aventis in the US in September 2004, reporting to the President and CEO of Sanofi-Aventis in the US."
