Jim Forbes, Managing Director, is Head of Merrill Lynch's Global Healthcare Group based in New York. Jim's transaction experience includes mergers and acquisitions, equity and convertible financings, and high yield/debt financings. In the last five years he has helped companies raise over $20 billion in financing. His clients include Quest Diagnostics, Triad Hospitals, and HCA. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 1997, Jim worked for CS First Boston where he worked in Debt Capital Markets, focusing on the Healthcare Industry. Jim is a graduate of Loyola College of Maryland, with a degree in Business Administration.
