Joe Galatowitsch is Senior Director of Patient Access Acceleration (P.A.A.) at Medtronic. As such, he is responsible for providing global leadership in helping to ensure the company's therapies and technologies reach patients who can benefit from them.
Joe has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and the medical industry. Joe joined Medtronic in 2000 from 3M Company. Since then, Joe has played leading roles in Cardiac Rhythm Management market development in Asia, Europe and the U.S. Joe led the development of many of the key elements of P.A.A. now being adopted throughout Medtronic.
At 3M, Joe spent 4 years in product development and about 15 years in strategic planning, market development, new product marketing and business and sales management.
Joe has a Biomedical Engineering degree from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
