Seth H.Z. Fischer

Johnson & Johnson, North America Pharmaceuticals
Seth Fischer is a company group chairman of Johnson & Johnson, responsible for North America Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Fischer also serves as a member of the Pharmaceuticals Group Operating Committee. He was named to his current position in July, 2004.
Mr. Fischer began his Johnson & Johnson career in 1983 as a sales representative for Ortho Pharmaceutical Corporation and held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and managed care organizations at Ortho Pharmaceutical, McNeil Pharmaceutical and later at the combined Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc. He was named vice president, sales and marketing, and a member of the Ortho-McNeil management board in 1998. In 2000 he was promoted to president, Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc.
Born in Akron, OH, Mr. Fischer earned a bachelor of arts degree from Ohio University. He served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Fischer currently serves as a member of the editorial board for Product Management Today and is a board member of the Epilepsy Foundation. He is also a member of the campaign committee for the Women's Health & Counseling Center. Mr. Fischer received the Martin House Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2001.
Mr. Fischer is married and the father of two children.
