The Health Care Club organizes professional, academic, and social activities for all Wharton graduate students who are interested in exploring opportunities in the health care industry. Members share their curiosity and experiences regarding current issues facing hospital, physician, managed care, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations. |
Wharton Health Care International Volunteer Project
Each year, a group of students and alumni of Wharton’s Health Care Management Program travel to Cape Town, South Africa for two weeks to continue projects aimed at improving the city’s public health care clinics.
Teams work diligently towards improving both the access and quality of care in the South African health care delivery system specifically within the context of the AIDS epidemic that has taken the lives of so many South Africans.
