Topic of His Talk - A Prescription for Change: What Real "Health Reform" Would Look Like.

Dr. Paulus will discuss several Geisinger Innovation experiments and their potential implications for real "health reform." Unlike efforts that tinker with the margin like most pay-for-performance initiatives or the current magical thinking in Washington that "HIT pixie dust" will solve all problems, Dr. Paulus will address the need for fundamental changes in incentives, operations and care delivery models that can produce dramatic improvements in quality and efficiency.
