The 2008 Pulse (formerly known as the WHLE) This year will mark the fourth annual publication of Pulse, the Wharton Healthcare Journal, which is distributed to conference attendees each year. With a new name and format, we plan to address a variety of relevant healthcare topics. This year’s publication will focus on the varying levels of access to healthcare, debates of universal coverage and implications for the industry. The goal of the Pulse is to engage the individuals shaping the health care industry and raise questions about timely issues. Past interviewees have included Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Governor Phil Bredesen, and former Pfizer CEO Hank A. McKinnel. The Pulse was made possible by the generous support of the Wharton Health Care Business Conference and McKesson.
