Dr. Julie Silverstein serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Oak Street Health, part of CVS Health. Dr. Silverstein started with Oak Street Health in 2018 in clinical leadership and then served as Division President - Atlantic Division until 2022 when she was appointed Chief Medical Officer, Care Delivery. Before joining Oak Street Health, Dr. Silverstein served as Physician Service Line Leader for Primary Care and Community Medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. She was clinical associate professor of medicine at Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine, section chief of general internal medicine, associate chair of ambulatory medicine and director of performance improvement and patient safety.

Dr. Silverstein earned her medical degree from New York University, Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and trained in primary care internal medicine at Cambridge Hospital. She has two children and resides in Swarthmore, PA.
