Vivien Ho is a Partner at Pear VC and leads the Healthcare practice. Pear is a pre-seed and seed stage VC firm that partners with entrepreneurs from their earliest days to build category defining companies. Pear has invested in leading companies including Doordash, Viz.AI, Valar Labs, Recora, ixLayer, Gusto, Branch, Guardant Health, Bioage, Vanta, Xilis and so much more. Vivien is also the host of the Pear Healthcare Playbook Podcast, where she interviews healthcare leaders about the journey of building healthcare businesses from 0 to 1.

Passionate about supporting female founders, she spearheads Pear’s Female Founder Circle program and serves on the Wharton Healthcare Alumni Board. Vivien was also named Forbes 30 under 30 Venture Capital list and Business Insider’s Rising Stars.

Vivien began her career at The Boston Consulting Group advising executives on growth and commercial strategies for Pharma, Providers, and Payers and she worked on executive business strategy, new products and product growth for Airbnb. She received her BS in Engineering at Northwestern University and MBA at The Wharton School in The Healthcare Management program.
