Tara Sullivan

Tara is a Principal on the investment team at Flare Capital Partners. Before joining Flare in 2023, Tara incubated seed stage startups at Redesign Health. As a Director on the New Ventures team, she supported new business ideation, investment diligence, and partnered with founding teams on go to market strategy. Prior to Redesign, Tara drove operations and strategic planning work at Flatiron Health, where she partnered with management on annual strategy development and led cross-functional initiatives with business, technical, and operational teams. Tara began her career as a consultant at Putnam Associates where she advised pharmaceutical clients on commercialization and market access strategies.

Tara earned a BA in Economics from McGill University and an MBA from The Wharton School, where she majored in Health Care Management and Entrepreneurship and received the Robert D. Eilers award for healthcare innovation and service to the community. She also brings early-stage venture experience from her role as a Venture Partner with Contrary Capital.

A Boston native, Tara loves running in the city and has completed the Boston Marathon twice as a member of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team. She is also a member of the Emerging Leaders Board of Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program.
